Instructional Designer

Description

Primary responsibilities

  • Design project management training programs for adult learners.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars on-site or remotely.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and implement improvements as needed.
  • Stay current with the latest project management trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Stay current with the latest adult learning trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Other activities as assigned.

Essential skills

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in using virtual training platforms and tools.

Experience

  • At least ten years of project management experience.
  • At least five years of experience delivering training to adults.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, project management, or a related field is required.

Certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
  • Adult education or training certification is highly desirable.

Location

  • Mostly remote with some in-person meetings at our Chattanooga, Tennessee office (home office must be in the state of Tennessee).
    Domestic and international travel as needed.

Work schedule

  • Weekdays between the hours of 9:00 am - 5:00 pm ET.
  • Up to 15 hours per week.

Salary

  • $40 - $50 per hour.
